On Saturday, March 11, 2006 there will be a FREE First Swing Seminar and Adapted Golf Clinic for anyone interested in learning how to adapt their current game of golf or for anyone with interest in learning the fundamentals of how to teach someone with a physical disability to play golf.

On Saturday, March 11, 2006 there will be a FREE First Swing Seminar and Adapted Golf Clinic for anyone interested in learning how to adapt their current game of golf or for anyone with interest in learning the fundamentals of how to teach someone with a physical disability to play golf.  

The program is brought to you by the National Amputee Golf Association, Shelby County Family Activity Center and Golf Course, Louisville Metro Parks-Adapted Leisure Activities, Amputee Golf Charities, Kentucky Prosthetics and Orthotics, Inc., Kentucky Wheelchair Athletics Association, Spinal Cord Injury Association of Kentucky, Kentucky Recreation and Parks Society and Frazier Rehab Institute-Adapted Sports Program.

FREE Continuing Education Opportunity through Frazier Rehab Institute Education Department and the Kentucky Recreation and Parks Society (TR, OT, PT, Nursing, Recreation Professionals, etc.)

FREE Morning Seminar session (8:00am-5:00pm) for Therapists and Professional staff interested in learning the fundamentals of how to teach someone with a physical disability to play golf with adaptations (seated, modified swing, one arm, one leg, etc).  LUNCH INCLUDED!!!
FREE Afternoon session (12:30pm-5:00pm) for individuals with physical disabilities (SCI, CP, Amputee, Spina Bifida, Etc.) to learn the fundamentals of how to play golf with adaptations ((seated, modified swing, one arm, one leg, etc).  LUNCH INCLUDED!!!
FREE Afternoon session will also offer therapists and Professional staff an opportunity to work 'hands-on' with individuals with physical disabilities.
