"The Feminization of the Disability Rights Movement"
For Women's History Month there will be a, author of Home Bound: Growing Up with a Disability in America. "In her memoir, Irvin chronicles her deeply personal journey to self-actualization as an independent woman and disability rights activist." (American Association of Colleges and Universities)
After the event, light refreshments will be served in the lobby. At that time, copies of Home Bound will be available for purchase and book signing by the author.
